Who We Are



Safe Homes of Orange County
is a private, not-for-profit established in 1986 dedicated to providing confidential services and assistance to individuals whose lives hae been affected by domestic violence and their children.  Safe Homes provides comprehensive programs, advocacy services, education, training and public awareness events throughout the county.  As the only domestic violence agency in the county, Safe Homes provides a unique and unduplicated service to the community and it’s citizens.

To work towards the elimination of intimate partner violence, and to increase public awareness about domestic violence issues.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month




Girls RULE


Summer leadership academy for girls in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.  This program, in collaboration with the Orange County Youth Bureau and Art and Soul Studios, this program offers sessions in leadership, healthy relationships, diversity, conflict resolution and communitcation skills and healthy body image and self esteem.



The Ursula Forem Memorial Scholarship


This scholarship is open to any woman who is pursuing a Woman's Studies, Human Services or Social Work program. For more information, please contact the office.
