We urge you to help us end violence against women and support those whose lives have been affected by intimate partner violence.
We need volunteers. Donate your time and talent to Safe Homes. All of our volunteers bring their own special touch to our programs. You will receive training, orientation and supervision from our specially trained staff. There are many volunteer opportunities including:
- Hotline Coverage
- Internships
- Assisting the women in our shelter
- Child Care
- Fundraising
- Clerical Work
- Court Advocacy
- Speaker’s Bureau
Be Educated: Become educated about intimate partner violence and tell others about it. Confront your own misconceptions about violence... and about women whose life this crime affects. We will make presentations to clubs, schools, civic groups and other organizations.

Internships
Safe Homes has a variety of interniships available. The interniships can include working at our shelter with our adult clients or in our children's program as well as going to court with clients or working in our administrative offices.
